The appearance of pimples on the face is a nightmare for most people, especially if it happens just before the big event. The world of cosmetics offers thousands of products that promise to quickly remove unwanted red dots. But sometimes the most effective treatments are the ones made at home.

When you want to minimize the unpleasant appearance of acne overnight, you can use any of the following quick tricks to reduce puffiness, redness, and irritation:

Honey and cinnamon

Mix half a teaspoon of honey and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder. With the help of a cotton bud, apply the mixture of a pimple. For best effect, stick a small patch and leave the honey overnight. In the morning, wash your face with lukewarm water. Honey and cinnamon will reduce irritation and greatly reduce the visibility of problematic pimples.

Ice and toothpaste

Place an ice cube on the problematic place for two minutes, remove it for 30 seconds and then hold it for another 2 minutes. If you cannot submit ice directly on the skin, wrap the small cube in a thin cloth. Apply a little toothpaste on the pimple. Leave the paste on the face overnight. It helps with faster drying of a pimple and also doesn’t let an unpleasant scar remains on the place. Remember not to put the paste on other parts of the face because it dries the skin.

Aloe Vera and tea tree oil

Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with Aloe Vera gel. Apply the mixture directly to a pimple and allow it to act overnight. In the morning, wash your face with cold water.

Caution: Do not do this if you suspect that you are allergic to aspirin! Crumble one aspirin tablet and add a little water to make a paste. Apply the paste on the pimple and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse with water. Aspirin significantly reduces redness.

Cucumber is great for effective home acne treatment of face and body. Grate a little cucumber and place it on the face as a mask. Relax about half an hour, and then wash your face with water. Cucumber naturally cleanses the face of excess oil, refreshes the skin and reduces irritation.

Orange crust

Especially popular home treatment for acne is the one with the orange peel. Simply take a small piece of crust, grate it, and then mash it so a little liquid comes out. Apply the mixture on the pimple, put the bandage on top of it and leave it on for 2 hours. If you do not have the time, apply the mashed orange crust on the pimple, lie down and relax for about 15 minutes.
